Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement se tiendra le dimanche 16 juin 2024 au <a href=\"https:\/\/golflabawette.green\/en\/\">golf de la Bawette \u00e0 Wavre<\/a>, et vise \u00e0 lever des fonds pour soutenir la recherche contre la maladie d&#8217;Alzheimer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Cette comp\u00e9tition a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 il y a 19\u00a0ans par le club. En pleine expansion, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement doit regrouper une centaine de joueurs<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb, explique Michel Van Handenhove membre du club et responsable de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement. \u00ab\u00a0Mais c\u2019est surtout une comp\u00e9tition solidaire et caritative qui vient cette ann\u00e9e en aide \u00e0 Stop Alzheimer, la Fondation pour la Recherche contre Alzheimer.\u00a0\u00bb continue t\u2019il.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon l\u2019OMS, on estime que 55 millions de personnes sont aujourd\u2019hui confront\u00e9es \u00e0 cette maladie.&nbsp;Actuellement, il n\u2019existe aucun traitement efficace mais les scientifiques qu\u2019une avanc\u00e9e majeure peut \u00eatre attendue dans les 10 prochaines ann\u00e9es si les financements le permettent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette comp\u00e9tition, le Lion\u2019s club de Mont Saint Guibert esp\u00e8re donc r\u00e9colter 6.000\u00a0\u20ac pour aider au financement de la recherche contre la maladie.
